My name is Martins, and I am the hands and heart behind this collection of concrete ceramic planters. I was born and raised in the small, historic town of Kuldīga, Latvia—a place where time seems to slow, and nature, architecture, and craft are deeply interwoven. That quiet beauty has stayed with me, and continues to inspire the shapes, surfaces, and spirit of everything I create.
With a background in art school, I’ve always been drawn to sculpture, to texture, and to the kind of design that doesn’t shout but endures. For me, a well-made planter is more than a container—it’s a piece of quiet architecture. It should hold space as gracefully as it holds a plant. I value timeless design, not tied to trends, but rooted in honesty, utility, and the unique imperfections of the handmade process.
Each pot is formed and finished entirely by hand. I embrace organic shapes, subtle asymmetry, and surfaces that show the traces of the process—because those human marks are what give an object its soul. The materials I use are simple and raw, just like the landscapes and walls that surround my workshop in Kuldīga.
This work is slow. Intentional. It’s about connection—to nature, to craft, to place. I hope these planters bring that same grounding presence to your space.
